Have you found a way to minimize the carbon footprint since you are now going to have to find a landfill big enough to bury all the crappy MS mobile products?

Maybe that’ll happen but from what I heard it isn’t true multitasking. It’s “pause n’ resume” for most apps. MS is really “hands on” in this release (not like WinMo), so they’ll decide. It’s not really up to the 3rd party programmers anymore :(

its life in this modern day!
    Its not 1970 anymore!
Its not true to say they dont have a life, the fact is they are full of life its just that now digital devices are a part of life. Its a means of comunication where as in say 1970 there was other option but to go to call ur friend on the phone or go to their house and you could not meet anyone from another country!
Please Wake Up get out of the Dark Ages!
While you say this your on here posting!

It looks pretty nice. I’ve been told it’s similar to the Zune’s interface, which is pretty nice. There’s already a lot of smartphones out there though.. do I want this one.. or the Nexus.. or the iPhone, or the Droid.. or.. the list goes on. They’ll have competition.

    –”Why so serious?”–

Look, I’m no fanboy but it angers me Microsofts going in this backwards direction- instead of making a powerful mobile os (windows mobile) even more powerful and stable. It’s just humor. Not meant to be taken too seriously.

Plus the commercial is pretty lame. I like easy targets.

@GoldfishFilms only ubuntu says is for human beings, and its really good give it a try, free software means you don’t need to buy major brands. only people i think should use windows is if your a hardcore gamer or your hardware is not supported (mostly really new stuff).

@GoldfishFilms hmmmm, well, some routers come with Linux I know that my Router does, so Draytek, some net books come with Linux so ASUS and Google Android is Linux, so HTC.
Also, most high level sites run Linux, and it seems likely that Linux has a much higher market share than is indicated. I’m not saying that you aren’t correct all I am saying is that Linux has it’s uses and isn’t necessarily just for Devs
